I notice that the main page for the new Lite does not list MP3 as an acceptable format but later it does say MP3 files can be put on the SD card or device. Does it PLAY MP3 files? Is there an earphone jack?

And more importantly to me can audiobook files (MP3) be played and does it "remember" where an audiofile is stopped and will it pick up again in the same place?

I probably want too much

To answer my own question, NO, the jetBook lite does not play MP3 or any music files.

Jetbook Lite DOES NOT have mp3-player and cannot play audiobooks.
