The connection between ER400 and PC doesn't work     Forum Index -> ECTACO Forum   Autor Message vamiz Messages: 1 30/09/2007 22:45:56    Subject: The connection between ER400 and PC doesn't work I have downloaded the latest version of the ER-400 Pro PC-Link software at www.ectaco.com and connected the dictionary to PC with PC-Link cable and to the cable of external power supply. I also opened the PC communication section of the dictionary and on the PC monitor I have : “ Upload from Mobile Device”. Then in the dictionary I have: Send data transfer mode>Enter>Uncheck Russian user’s dict. On the PC monitor: the handshaking.. icon Then in the dictionary I press" Enter" and I see: Sending data… Handshaking… (So, I have handshaking on the both screens, but nothing transfers, and after that: “time out” I use the port COM1. Maybe somebody has an experiance in tranefering data between Ectaco dictionaries and PC. Please, inform whatever does work.
