Unicode support

My JetBook favorite features are the form factor, folder system and screen readability. Would be my favorite toy if not for one serious problem. I mostly read Russian texts in fb2 format. Most books available on the Net are still encoded in the older Win 1251 charset while about 1/3 of them use Unicode (UTF-8). Unicode is the current industry standard - almost every new published non-Latin text worldwide is encoded in UTF-8. The trouble is JetBook does not support Unicode! What a disappointment to load a bunch of books in the reader only to see a screenful of garbage for many of them.
I wonder if developers are going to add Unicode support? It is crucial for a reader positioned as a multilingual device.
A better fb2 reader would be nice too (hint: GNU FBReader is a very good free Linux reader already used by some devices)
Looking forward with hope to new firmware releases.
