There are a few sample stories on my new jetbook. Where do I find more to download?

If you search for "free pdf books" there are hundreds to choose from, whether they format for free flow page turning is another matter.

There seem to be many websites offering classics for the Jetbook but very few offering modern novels, bestsellers etc. even if one is prepared to pay for them. I would like to get Monica Ali's Brick Lane, for instance, but there is no suitable format available.

Also, I downloaded War and Peace from Project Gutenberg but the format is all over the place. Why is this, can I adjust it and if not is there another website which has it in a correct format.

I like the Jetbook but find the restriction to classic novels very frustrating The sooner Ectaco link up to a bookseller the better - that is the real advantage that both Kindle and Sony have.

Green: The websites you recommend have very few bestsellers and this will remain the case unless one can buy them. The websites recommended are for free ebooks - that is those that are out of copyright or otherwise unprotected. This does not apply to bestsellers, Booker and Nobel prizewinners etc. which is what I want.

Diesel appear to offer some contemporary bestsellers for sale but try as I may I cannot get onto their website or send them a message! Anyone would think they were selling government secrets!

As things are, I am thinking of selling my Jetbook on Ebay and will wait until Kindle is available in the UK. I have checked out Sony and the lack of any search facility on their latest model is a disadvantage, although the fact that they are backed by Waterstones is good selling point. Ectaco lets itself down by not being linked to a large bookshop like Amazon or Waterstones.
