The TL-4 is a unique speech-to-speech interpreter, able to recognize English speech and pronounce translations back to you and your listener in the chosen language. It also has the capability to translate over 4,200 phrases into seven popular European and Asian languages.

As soon as you make a selection, the SpeechGuard™ pronounces the translation of the chosen phrase in one of the seven languages. The voice output is loud, clear and all phrases are professionally translated and narrated.

The TL-4 uses a speaker-independent recognition routine; but to add to the accuracy of speech recognition, it is equipped with a speech adaptation procedure which enables the system to tune in to an individual’s voice.

TL-4 carries the elements of the original design, such as a dust and waterproof case, LCD backlight for operation under limited light conditions, extendable collar microphone, extra durable Li-Polymer battery and more.

The SpeechGuard™ TL-4 offers eight main topics to choose from, and an extra 'My SpeechGuard' section, where the user can place their favorite and most commonly used phrases.

Moreover, users can operate the SpeechGuard™ by means of convenient Voice Commands.
